I have been providing healthcare services to expectant and new families since 1983. I have a private practice in Tarzana, California.
Registered Nurse (RN) - I graduated summa cum laude from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York in July, 1975 with a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) - I have been a certified Lamaze Instructor since 1983.
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) - I became a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) in 1984 and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2002. I served for 3 years as president of the Breastfeeding Task Force of Greater Los Angeles. I have been a Baby Friendly Hospital consultant since 2003.
CranioSacral Therapist (CST) - I am an Upledger-certified CranioSacral Therapist, teaching assistant, and study group leader.
Mother - I am the mother of 2 daughters, Jennie and Valerie, born in 1984 and 1987.
